LESCO expects timely delivery and quality from each vendor. We require food vendors to comply with food service regulations set by the State where the products are provided.

LESCO expects our suppliers to:

• Use designated or approved external providers, including process sources, to ensure that all externally provided processes, products, and services do not negatively affect the organization’s ability to consistently deliver conforming products and services.
• Notify LESCO of any nonconforming products or services.
• Prevent the use of suspected unapproved or unverified products (ingredients).
• Ensure that the delivery method maintains temperature control and handling to protect the integrity of the products.
• Inform LESCO of any changes to approved products, including ingredients.
• Provide proof of shelf life and ingredient information as applicable.
• Retain documented information, including retention periods and disposition requirements.

LESCO, along with its customers and regulatory agencies, reserves the right to access any level of the supply chain necessary to determine and verify the quality of contracted work, records, and materials. The supplier must provide the appropriate facilities, equipment, and personnel as needed for these assessments.

All suppliers to LESCO should educate their employees about:

• Their role in ensuring product or service conformity.
• Their impact on product safety.
• The importance of ethical behavior.
